According to a report from Engadget, Tag Heuer has collaborated with Nintendo To launch the Super Mario version of your connected smartwatch. The smartwatch will be available from July 15 and is priced at $2,150 (approximately Rs 1.6 lakh).
Smartwatch on the go WearOS and will be available at select Tag Heuer outlets worldwide. It will also be available on Tag Heuer online store.
What’s special about a smartwatch?
For starters, Mario will prompt users to be active and it will reward them when they advance. The watch dial becomes different and more animated when the wearer is activated. The smartwatch also comes with a unique game-based rewards system. Mario will greet users with different animations as they complete different goals. The animations are from the Super Mario game and include supper star, Gol Pole among others.
The new watch faces are also inspired by Super Mario. There is a timekeeping dial that uses elements from the 1985 version of the game.
push button, Crown The logo and bezel are also Super Mario red. The letter M is engraved on the strap and crown. The smartwatch comes with two interchangeable straps – a black leather band on red rubber and a sporty option. It also comes in a travel case which is in the Super Mario shade of red.
Only 2,000 watches will be made and users will first need to register on the Tag Heuer website to purchase them.
