Tabu made a cameo in Farah Khan’s movie Om Shanti Om. She will be next seen in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha with Ajay Devgn.
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s iconic film Om Shanti Om continues to be a beloved classic. Alongside the lead pair, the film featured cameo appearances by numerous Bollywood celebrities in the song Deewangi Deewangi. Recently, during an interview, while promoting her upcoming film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, Tabu shared her experience of being part of this star-studded affair. The actress revealed that SRK generously gifted expensive presents to all the celebrities who participated in the film.
During a candid chat with Zoom, Tabu shared, “A lot of people want to see us together. There was a shot that all of us did. I did it for Farah and yeah, it was great fun. They made me some great clothes, great hair and makeup, and we got very expensive gifts from Shah Rukh Khan.”
The song, Deewangi Deewangi featured a star-studded ensemble including Priyanka Chopra, Rani Mukerji, Shabana Azmi, Vidya Balan, Sushmita Sen, Zayed Khan, Jeetendra, and Tusshar Kapoor among others.
Directed by Farah Khan, Om Shanti Om revolves around Om, an aspiring actor from the 1970s who is murdered and immediately reincarnated into the present day. He then attempts to uncover the mystery of his death and find Shanti, the love of his previous life. Shah Rukh Khan played the role of Om Prakash Makhija, while Deepika Padukone was seen as Shantipriya.
Tabu is gearing up for her upcoming film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha alongside Ajay Devgn. The film revolves around a love story that unfolds between 2002 and 2023. The movie is directed by Neeraj Pandey and also features Jimmy Shergill, Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar. Additionally, she is set to appear in the international series Dune: Prophecy. Tabu will play the role of Sister Francesca.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will next appear in Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming action thriller King. The film features SRK alongside her daughter Suhana Khan.
