When asked why she mostly plays strict characters in her films, Tabu had the wittiest reply.
Yesterday, the long-awaited trailer of Crew, featuring Kareena, Tabu and Kriti Sanon finally dropped and instantly hit a chord with the audiences. The trailer, packed with fun, quickly became the hot topic around. At the launch event, Tabu opted for an olive blazer paired with dhoti-style pants. In the trailer, one can find Tabu’s character using cuss words multiple times. However, these scenes have allegedly been changed in the movie’s final cut as per instructions from the CBFC.
When asked why she mostly plays strict characters in her films, Tabu jokingly said, “I think daante ke liye lete hain mujhe filmo mein. Har picture mein ya toh gaali dilwa rahe hain ya daantwa rahe hai.”
Meanwhile, as the crowd showered Kriti with love during the launch, she couldn’t help but blush and say, “Yeh maine plan nahi kiya hain (I didn’t plan this!).” And when the fans turned to Kareena with and said, “We love you Bebo”, she cheekily shot back, “Yeh consolation prize nahi chahiye mujhe (I don’ need the consolation prize, folks!” The video is now going viral on the internet.
Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon’s film The Crew is all set to hit screens on March 29, marking the first time these three stars will share the screen together. Fans have already shown love for the teaser and songs released earlier. Finally, on Saturday, March 16, the much-awaited trailer dropped.
In the trailer, we see Kriti, Kareena, and Tabu slipping into their air hostess uniforms, delivering dialogues with a lot of punch, getting into hilarious situations as they navigate the challenges of their airline going bankrupt. But amidst the chaos, their strong bond shines through, as they tackle every obstacle with their infectious humour and sisterly camaraderie.
