Talking to a news portal, the Thappad actor revealed that his parents just want him to get married, as they are worried that he might get married. However, Taapsee said that she will not marry someone whom her parents do not believe in.
She also said that she has always opened up about this to everyone she has dated.
“I will not marry someone with whom my parents are not okay. I have been very honest about this to all the people I have married and with whom I have thought of getting married. Kyunki mere saath yeh hota tha (it used to happen to me) whom I dated in my head I’ll spend time and energy on this person (if marriage is a possibility) only if this marriage happens I must spend time and energy on this person)’…I am not interested in passing the time (I am not interested in passing the time). So I have always looked at it from that perspective so if it is not happening then don’t do it (so if it is not happening then let it go),” Taapsee told CurlyTales.
talking to etimesTaapsee had earlier mentioned that she is yet to reach certain benchmarks in her career. “I have yet to reach some benchmark in my professional life. Once I do, maybe I will think of slowing down, do two-three films a year instead of five-six. Only then will I have time to dedicate my personal life.”
Taapsee’s latest film Haseen Dilruba has recently released on Netflix. Directed by Vinil Mathew, the film stars Taapsee opposite Vikrant Massey. Apart from this he has a series of movies. She will be seen in the Hindi remake of the German film Run Lola Run, titled Loop Lapeta.
The actress will also play the role of Indian cricketer Mithali Raj in her biopic Shabaash Mithu.
