To make the centenary celebrations of Bihar Legislative Assembly memorable, it has been decided to build a pillar in its memory. The swastika symbol will be inscribed on the top of this pillar. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav is very angry with this decision of the government. They believe that instead of the swastika, it should have had the Ashoka Chakra.

Efforts are being made to take the centenary celebrations of Bihar Vidhan Sabha to the national level. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, CM Nitish Kumar along with all the big leaders of Bihar participated in its enlightenment program. This ceremony has also come under controversy. Actually, the controversy has started regarding a pillar which is yet to be constructed.

On Friday, the official Twitter handle of Tejashwi Yadav’s office said that a pillar is being built in front of the main gate of the assembly to commemorate the centenary celebrations of the Bihar Vidhan Sabha building. After independence, this will be the first such pillar in the country, which does not have Ashoka Chakra. Demolishing the secular image of the country, the Nitish government has replaced the Ashok Chakra with a swastika symbol.

The ruling party leaders have remained silent on this statement of RJD. On the other hand, when Dainik Bhaskar tried to contact the Vidhan Sabha office, no response was received.
