Swara Bhaskar’s Latest Looks Are The Perfect Inspiration For Bridesmaids

If you are going to attend a wedding function then Swara Bhaskar’s latest traditional look can become your wardrobe inspiration. Swara’s recent post on Instagram gives us a glimpse of her style choice as a bridesmaid. The actress recently attended her sister’s wedding and was seen in delicate saris and glamorous lehengas.

Swara was seen in a pastel pink saree for a wedding ceremony. The saree came in hand-painted Bougainville’s Chocolate Brown and Cherry Red shades on a pure silk organza fabric that was enhanced with hand-embroidered gota. Swara paired her saree with a sleeveless blouse. Swara accessorised her look with a silver necklace and maang tikka. She wore her hair in a bun and decorated it with white jasmine flowers. Swara’s henna patterned hands were adorned with a bracelet and a ring. The actress wore simple stud earrings and minimal makeup to complete her look.

There was also a message of body positivity in Swara’s body as she shared her saree look on Instagram. She mentioned in the caption, “I’m usually weird about wearing sleeveless blouses because I always have these aunty-arms even when I’m fittest. At first I thought I’d wear a full sleeve blouse but then Priyanka Yadav reminds me you look like you look, and it’s the end of the year. My sister and my best friend got married, the whole family gathered and had a bowling festival, ate some delicious food , and loved it. So here I am, feeling happy, grateful and beautiful at the end of 2021.”

For the mehendi ceremony, Swara chose to wear a henna colored kurta and sharara by Diwani. The full-sleeved kurta came with completely white embroidery, and a dupatta which had maroon colours. Completing the retro look, Swara wore her hair in a braid and loose hair to frame her face.

Another wedding guest look served by Swara featured her in a black lehenga that came with gorgeous vibrant embroidery and mirror-work. The actress wore a Salma Sitara lehenga by designer Mayur Girotra for her sister’s sangeet ceremony. Swara also added a fun and practical twist to her traditional look as she wore matching sneakers with the lehenga. Sharing a picture of her wedding look, Swara wrote in the caption, “Dirty hair, colorful lehenga choli, dark henna, statement jewelery and lots of kajal. This is Cinderella’s Indian wedding edit.”
