First laptop to come with Windows 11?
It is expected that the 2021 flagship Surface Laptop will be one of the first devices to ship with Windows 11. To recall, Windows 11 was unveiled earlier this year after a gap of six years. The Windows 10 OS version was unveiled in 2015. Microsoft usually holds its hardware event in October, which is why it is being said that the upcoming Surface Laptop could be the first device to come with Windows 11 pre-installed.
For other Windows laptop users, the latest OS update is expected to be available for download later this year when PCs with the Windows 11 operating system officially go on sale. This means, if you are using Windows 10 computer then you will get the update free if your device offers 4 GB RAM, 64 GB free storage space and 64-bit 1 GHz dual-core processor.
Recently, Windows and Devices Head Panos Pana revealed a new Focus Sessions feature that will be part of the Windows 11 update on Twitter and called it a ‘game-changer’. Microsoft’s Focus Sessions allows users to select a task from a list of tasks for a particular focus session. Post this, it will allow users to select a time frame for that task with support for optional breaks in between.
