New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday granted protection from arrest to TV actor Chahat Khanna’s estranged husband Farhan Shah Rukh Mirza, who had leveled allegations of rape and unnatural sex against him and also videotaped such acts.

Mirza claimed that his estranged wife is habitually liars and had earlier adopted the same method against her ex-husband/partners, against whom she had also filed similar false cases.
The petition states that the order of the High Court failed to consider that the present FIR is an abuse of procedure and in retaliation to the petitioner’s efforts to save his marriage and keep his family (consisting of two minor daughters) in the past.
