Supreme Court orders demolition of 40-storey Supertech Emerald Court in Noida within two weeks

The Supreme Court has ordered the demolition of two 40-storey towers of Supertech Emerald Court in Noida within two weeks. The Supreme Court has directed the CEO of Noida to call a meeting of all the concerned agencies within 72 hours and decide the schedule of demolition of both the towers.

Meeting will be held within 72 hours

In fact, a bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Suryakant has directed the CEO of Noida to call a meeting within 72 hours. The Supreme Court has ordered that all relevant agencies be present in this meeting so that the two 40-storey towers of the Superteach Emerald Court in Noida can be demolished at the earliest within two weeks. The court said that the CEO of Noida will take all necessary steps to comply with the directions of the Supreme Court.

Let us inform that on January 12, the Supreme Court had reprimanded Supertech for not complying with its orders to demolish both the 40-storey towers of the Supertech Emerald Court located in Sector-93, Noida. The Supreme Court had warned Supertech that if they did not return the money, they would be sent to jail.
