This weekend’s Super Dancer – Chapter 4 will celebrate actress Karisma Kapoor and her body of work in the ‘Karisma Kapoor Special Episode’. All the contestants will be seen performing on Karisma’s chartbusters and paying a fitting tribute to the actress. She will also work for actress Shilpa Shetty, who is seen as a regular judge on the dance reality show, to drop the episode later this week.
Contestant Pari and Super Guru Pankaj performed one of Karishma’s most favorite songs – Aaye Ho Meri Zindagi Mein Tum Bahar Ban Ke and through her dance brought up a beautiful bond between a granddaughter and a grandparent. An excited Karisma said that she was reminded of her own bond with her grandfather and that she remembered him through this act.
Pari, in what is known as a walking-talking questionnaire, had prepared a series of questions for Karishma, which obliged her with ready-made answers! When the angel asked him – which of them was more mischievous and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma replied, “Main bohot bholi thi… wo (Kareena) bohot natkhat.”
He further added, “Kareena was a very curious child since her childhood. She was very fond of knowledge. She always used to count everything in life, to gain knowledge… from a young age.”
When asked if Karishma likes to read, she replied that she is more inclined towards extra-curricular activities. “I was really fond of dancing, debates, competitions…everything in school. I was very sporty and artistic. But we all have to read, right? Education is most important of all. But you should also pursue your hobbies. I think that’s what I did.”
When Geeta once asked to bunk school, Karishma said, “I was very well-off (at that age). I was very honest in school. I used to go to school regularly and do my homework properly.” She also mentioned that her sister Karina was a very good student. Very good in studies and also artistically inclined.
Impressed by Pari’s curiosity about Kareena, Karisma made Pari’s dream come true when she called her sister Kareena from the sets. The five-year-old was ranked ninth when Kareena said she was a big fan of Pari and her dance moves. Kareena Kapoor said, “I am your fan, because I have seen your dance… and what do you dance! I wish I was there so that I could see your dance live. Actually I am a fan of Super Dancer because there are so many talents.” There are contestants. But Pari, you have won my heart. I want to say that Taimur also loves Super Dancer and is a fan of you all! We both enjoy the show together.”
