Sunny Leone had recently faced the ire of fans for appearing in the song Madhuban as it apparently hurt the “religious sentiments” of a section of people. The song was considered objectionable. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra had also criticized the number and demanded a public apology from Sunny Leone. While the original song had since disappeared from the internet, Sunny Leone has now shared a clip of the video along with the reworked song on her social media handle. Once again seen in her bold avatar, we see Sunny Leone shaking legs and hips to the music composed by Sharib and Toshi. The song is sung by Kanika Kapoor and Arindam Chakraborty.

Originally, the lyrics of ‘Madhuban Mein Naache Radhika’ have been changed to ‘Nache Panghat Mein Girlfriend’. The title has also been changed from Madhuban to Panghat. In just six hours, the new video has garnered 2,409,994 views. In the comment section, people have praised Sunny Leone’s dance and bold avatar in the song.

When the original video surfaced last month, the hashtag ‘Arrest Sunny Leone’ started trending on social media after criticism from both the public and Mishra.

Mishra gave the makers of the song an ultimatum of three days to take it down, after which music label Saregama said that the company would change the lyrics of the song as well as change the name of the song from Madhuban to something more appropriate.

“In the light of the recent reaction and respecting the sentiments of our fellow countrymen, we will change the lyrics of the song and the name of Madhuban. Saregama had said from its official Twitter handle that the new song would replace the old one on all platforms in the next three days.

Sunny Leone will soon be seen in two Tamil language films Oh My Ghost and Shero, both of which are in progress.
