Sunil Jakhar surrounded the center: instead of Haryana and Punjab, officers of UT cadre are being deployed in Chandigarh, all parties should gather together and protest

Former Punjab Congress chief Sunil Jakhar has surrounded the central government on the pretext of Chandigarh. He said that officers of UT cadre are being replaced in place of officers of Haryana and Punjab in Chandigarh. He has termed it as a violation of the rules of Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB). Jakhar asked the leaders of all the parties to come together and raise their voice against it.

Officers of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands deployed
Sunil Jakhar wrote that for the first time in Chandigarh, instead of Punjab Civil Service (PCS) and Haryana Civil Service (HCS), the administration appointed officers of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Civil Service (DANICS) cadre. He said that the rights of Punjab are being snatched away by violating the rules of BBMB. He said that Punjab’s right over Chandigarh was being weakened by such actions taken in the last few days. Similar has been done in BBMB as well.

He told Captain Amarinder Singh, Sukhdev Dhindsa, Bhagwant Mann, Sukhbir Badal, Navjot Sidhu and Charanjit Channi that the elections were over now. Therefore, everyone should unite for the rights of Punjab by raising them above politics.

DANICS officers have been deployed for the first time in Chandigarh. Before this, only PCS and HCS officers have been appointed. They are given important responsibility. IAS officers promoted from DANICS cadre are definitely being posted in Chandigarh. A few days ago, three such officers D. Karthikeyan, Akhil Kumar and Amit Kumar have been transferred from Delhi to Chandigarh.
