Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse became parents to a daughter earlier this year.
After dating secretly for a while and making it red-carpet official, lovebirds Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse recently embraced a new phase of their relationship. The couple became parents to their first child, a baby girl, in March this year. The Daisy Jones & The Six shared an adorable picture with their daughter on Instagram and wrote, “Welcome to the world angel.” Amidst the bliss of motherhood, Suki recently opened up about her pregnancy and revealed whether the couple had it planned in advance.
Speaking to British Vogue, the singer said, “No, we really planned it. One day, we looked at each other and said, ‘Well, this is as ready as we’re going to be’. And I was like, ‘What can make more chaos?’”
The 32-year-old also shared how the Twilight actor has been doing as a father, revealing that he was “really nervous at the time of the baby’s birth. Suki shared that he has been very calm since then, contrary to his anxious nature. “He was there with me, and like all dads, he was really nervous. But for someone who’s quite an anxious person, he’s been very calm,” she recalled.
For Suki, Robert has become the “dad that she could ever hope for,” as she says, “a dad and his daughter? It’s an actual love story.”
Suki Waterhouse On Being A New Mom
During the conversation, Waterhouse even reflected on her motherhood experience and said, “It is shocking in every way. I was alarmed that the baby needed to be breastfed every two hours. I was like, ‘Excuse me? Is this what this entails?’. But whatever happens, this is my dream, and I have this anchor. I am so happy all the time to go home and see her little gummy smile.”
While the couple is yet to reveal their baby’s face or name, they were recently spotted taking their little angel out for a stroll.
Their dating rumours sparked around 2018 when they were spotted hanging out together in London. Keeping it low-key, they eventually went public at the Met Gala last year. Later in November, Suki Waterhouse, during her Corona Capital Festival performance, announced that she and Pattinson were expecting.
