The owner of the team, Shah Rukh Khan who had flown down to the coastal city with his family was captured celebrating by planting a kiss on Gauri Khan’s head as KKR beat SRH by 8 wickets. As soon as KKR emerged victorious, the stadium camera captured Shah Rukh Khan hugging his wife Gauri in an endearing gesture, followed by a kiss on her head. King Khan then went on to to celebrate with people around him. The video soon went viral on social media.’
Suhana, who was right beside her dad, during the big match, couldn’t hold back her tears. She broke into tears hugging her father, Shah Rukh, and said “I’m so happy”. The video is now going viral on social media. As he hugged Suhana, little AbRam ran towards him and hugged them both, Shah Rukh Khan also hugged Aryan.
SRK-led KKR continued their excellent run in IPL 2024 after finishing the league stage at the top of the standings. The Shreyas Iyer-led side defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first qualifier of the season to make their way into the title clash.
At the stands today, the Badshah of Bollywood wore a purple tee and Gauri wore the KKR jersey. Shah Rukh Khan, having recently recovered from the heat stroke, wore a mask. He also sported a round, spot band aid plaster on his right hand, possibly an area where the Intravenous Cannula was inserted. He later took the mask off and slipped into a black tee and sunglasses to celebrate with the team. He also did his iconic, arms-outstretched pose from the stands. On the field, he was accompanied by Gauri, Kajal Anand, Sanjay Kapoor, Ananya Panday and other close friends.
