Succession, the critically acclaimed HBO series about a troubled media conglomerate family, will make its return on March 26 for a fourth season.
The Roy kids vying for Logan’s job (and his affections) have always driven the action on the show, but it’s the interpersonal drama that keeps us hooked.
“Success,” the king of prestige TV, is returning this March – with its acidic dialogue, family infighting and memorable moments intact.
HBO’s latest trailer for the fourth season of “Succession” pits three of the Roy siblings (minus Connor, of course) against their father, the unbeatable Titan Logan Roy. When we last left them, Shiva’s husband, the typically weak Tom Wambsgans, had passed on information to Logan, effectively blocking the siblings from succeeding their father as head of the family company. Can (HBO and CNN share parent company Warner Bros. Discovery.)

It is seen in the trailer that Tom asks Logan if he and Shiva “bust up” if they will remain partners. Roy’s grandfather replied ominously: “If we’re good, we’re good.” There’s nothing like screwing up one of your kids to hook up with their spineless mate. (And shortly after she admitted she didn’t “love” him, at that—no “heirarch” character has both a healthy personal life and professional success!)
Also seen in the brief trailer: Alexander Skarsgård as tech CEO Lucas Matson, Shiva marching methodically through the newsroom, Connor and Willa alliance (another “heirship” wedding!) and number-one son Kendall at sea. are walking ominously towards (that is, a strange thing was found with the water).
The acclaimed drama returns just in time to fill the void left by HBO’s apocalyptic game adaptation, “The Last of Us,” whose first season will end in March. ‘Succession’ Season 4 premieres on March 26.
