Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday said students should take inspiration from Sindhu for her will power and take the exam with patience. Stalin visited a Class XII student, who is undergoing treatment at Tamil Nadu Government’s Multi-Super Specialty Hospital, Omandurar, after she was seriously injured in an accident two years ago while playing with her friend.

Recently, she took her Class XII board exams from a stretcher, with the support of the 108 ambulance facility. After learning about Sindhu, Stalin visited her at the hospital on Wednesday and praised her willpower to take the board exams despite her injuries.

“Students should be inspired by Sindhu’s will to take the board exams despite facing hurdles (serious injuries),” Stalin said. The Chief Minister told them that the state government would bear the medical expenses. Later, he also ordered his father to set up a tea stall in the Omandurar hospital premises, the release said.
