Students happy with Chemistry paper on last day of JEE Main 2022 session 1, Mathematics continues ‘long and difficult’

In form of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 The morning shift exam concluded on the last day, students say they were quite happy with the chemistry paper. While the Physics exam was easy in general, the Mathematics paper was tough in this session. FIITJEE Noida head Ramesh Butlish said, “The numerical section had lengthy calculations, while some questions were described as lengthy and difficult.” He said that the questions were covered from almost all the chapters of class 11 and 12. CBSE group.

In Mathematics, questions were asked from all chapters, with emphasis on conic sections and algebra chapters. Some good questions were asked from chapters like Binomial Theorem, Statistics, Mathematical Reasoning, Probability, Matrix, Progression, Circle, Parabola, Ellipse, 3D Geometry, Definite Integration, Area under Curves, Differential Equations.

The Physics test which was of easy to moderate level included questions from Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Thermodynamics and Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Magnetism, AC Circuits, Current Electricity, Modern Physics, Ray and Wave Optics, Semiconductors and SHM. “Some numerical based questions were easy. Overall, this section was balanced according to the students,” Battlish said.

The easiest of all the sections – Chemistry – gave more weightage to inorganic and organic chemistry. “Numerical based questions were mostly from physical chemistry which included electrochemistry, mole concept, ionic equilibrium. Questions were included in everyday life chemistry, environmental chemistry, d-blocks, aldehydes and ketones, alcohols, phenols, biomolecules, chemical bonds, solutions, and atomic structure. The fact based questions from NCERT were easy,” he said.

Mathematics question paper for session 1 of JEE Main which ends today Has been repeatedly labeled ‘difficult’ by many students, Many people have found many calculation parts to be ‘long’. The paper of Physics and Chemistry has been comparatively easy.

Like the previous papers, there were a total of 90 questions and the total marks of JEE Main Paper-1 was 300. Each section had 30 MCQ type questions.
