Green card backlog increased to 90 lakhs
Green card limit is fixed every year. In such a situation, applicants from a country like India have to wait, from where a large number of people apply for jobs in America. The backlog has increased in recent years. There were 87 lakh applications in the year 2018, which increased to 90 lakh in 2021.
