Struggling to register FIR against Abhinav Shukla who was left to die in Punjab, brutally thrashed by a cousin; state police response

After brutally thrashing his cousin, Abhinav Shukla took to Twitter to urge Punjab Police to register an FIR. The Bigg Boss 14 alum revealed that a month ago his cousin was beaten up and left to die. He has spent more than 30 days in the hospital and is now paralyzed.

Sharing a picture of his cousin along with the details of the police station, Abhinav wrote, “My cousin was brutally beaten up when he was unconscious, naked, somehow left to die. Stayed in ICU for 30 days. Now he is paralyzed, enough is enough but we are begging all concerned PS to register an FIR.” He tagged Gurdaspur Police, DGP Punjab Police and Punjab Police India in the tweet.

IPS officer Surendra Lamba replied to Abhinav. “@ashukla09 Please ask him to record his statement at @PathankotPolice in PS Mamoon Cantt. They have already been instructed to ensure legal action. Also share with me if you have any problem. We are committed to ensure justice as per law and facts. Jai Hind!” Abhinav thanked him and said, “Thank you sir, the necessary work is being done! Jai Hind.”

There were also reactions from Punjab Police India and Gurdaspur Police on Abhinav’s tweet. Punjab Police India tweeted, “@ashukla09 Sir, the complaint shared by you has been forwarded to @PP_Gurdaspur for immediate necessary action.” Gurdaspur police responded.

Many fans of Abhinav and his wife, actress Rubina Dilaik, sent their prayers to the actor for Abhinav and his family. “Praying for his speedy recovery. Get justice soon. Stay strong and fight till justice is served.” One fan tweeted, “Praying for a speedy recovery. A third fan said, “So sorry to you and your family for what is happening to Abhi.”
