Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission will soon release the advertisement for Combined State / Higher Subordinate Services Examination-2022, commonly known as PCS-2022, in the last week of this month.
“Also, UPPSC has taken several steps to ensure fair and transparent conduct of examinations conducted by the Commission for various posts. Steps have been taken with regard to the recent incidents of paper leaks,” said Chairman UPPSC, Sanjay Shrinate while talking to a section of the media on Tuesday.
“We will announce the advertisement of PCS-2022 for male nurses in the second week of January and in the last week of this month,” the chairman said.
He also said that the Commission has taken several steps to improve the work culture, due to which the results of many recruitment processes have been declared in record time.
“We are in the process of making an arrangement after which the candidates of various examinations conducted by the Commission will be able to know the name of their examination center just 48 hours before the day of the examination. Before declaring the name of the exam center, the candidate will know in which city the exam center will be (eg Gorakhpur 1st or 2nd, 3rd etc.) and before 48 hours, the commission will notify about the exact name of the exam. centers through SMS, mail and the website of UPPSC,” he said.
He also said that the commission now follows a calendar for conducting examinations and declaring their results in a stipulated time. In addition, several steps have been taken regarding examination centers and the Commission will ensure that only those schools and institutions that meet our criteria are made examination centres.
In another important decision taken by the Commission, the Chairman informed the media that in future all examinations conducted by UPPSC will be two-tier and the concept of single examination or direct recruitment will be removed. “This will eliminate the possibility of any gang or unscrupulous elements getting involved in the recruitment process,” the official said.
He also said that the commission has also decided to seek support from the Union Service Public Commission (UPSC). “UPSC is a superior body and has an impeccable track record for its work culture. Thus, we have decided that UPPSC will take their support and follow them to improve itself.
