Stavan Shinde Excited About Playing Warrior Shiva Kashid in ‘Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji’

Popular Marathi TV series “Tumcha Aamcha Wahi Aast” fame Stavan Shinde is all set to play the role of Shiv Kashid in the Marathi drama historical show Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji.

The actor recently shared his experience of getting a chance to work on the show and playing such an iconic role on screen, saying that he feels very fortunate to have got this opportunity.

Stuvan, commenting on the occasion in the historical drama, said that he is grateful to the channel Star Parv for extending the occasion.

The actor said, “I am very grateful to the producers and the channel for giving me this opportunity. People have seen me in shows like Tumcha Aamcha Wahi Asta and Agnihotra 2. Now, I am on the channel again with shows like Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji. Glad to join.

Speaking further about the role, the actor said, “We all have heard about the bravery of warrior Shiv Kashid and through the role in the show the audience will experience his timeless journey and the priceless sacrifices made by him.”

Finally, the actor expressed his excitement to play the role and said, “I am really looking forward to playing the role of Shiva Kashid. I learned horse riding when I was a kid, so now it will help me portray Shiv Kashid better. And, currently, I have started reading some historical books to get to know Shiv Kashid better and get under the skin of the character.”

Let us tell you that Shiva Kashid played an important role in helping Shivaji Maharaj to break the siege of Panhala and move towards Vishalgarh Fort.

Earlier, the role of Shiva Kashid in the show was played by Deccanch Raja Jyotiba fame Vishal Nikam, but he reportedly left the show to participate in Bigg Boss Marathi Season 3 as a contestant.

Talking about the show Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji, Bhushan Pradhan is essaying the lead role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Ajinkkya Deo is seen as Bajiprabhu Deshpande while Kashyap Parulekar is playing Netaji Palkar.
