‘State progressed on all standards’: PM Modi congratulates Dhami on taking oath as Uttarakhand CM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated Pushkar Singh Dhami on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and expressed confidence that the new government will set new paradigms of development as per the aspirations of the people.

In a tweet, he said that the state has made rapid progress on all parameters in the last five years.

Dhami took oath as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand on Wednesday during a ceremony held in the presence of Modi and several senior party leaders at Parade Ground in Dehradun. Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmeet Singh administered oath to eight ministers besides Dhami. This is the 46-year-old Dhami’s second consecutive term as Chief Minister.
