As per the official notification, Paper 1 will be conducted in two sessions.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in its latest notification released on Friday has released the exam paper pattern for applicants appearing in Tier 2 Paper 1 of SSC CGL 2022.

The exam for Tier 2 of SSC CGL is scheduled from March 2 to March 7, 2023. As per the official notification, Paper 1 will be conducted in two sessions. After the completion of the first session, the applicants who have appeared in the exam will be given a break to re-register for the second session.

In the first session, there will be three sections for the candidates to complete. The first section will consist of questions on reasoning and general intelligence as well as mathematical abilities in two different modules. To complete the first section, students will be given one hour in the examination hall.

The second section of the paper will consist of English Language and Comprehension along with General Awareness in two modules. Apart from assessing the ability of English language, this section will also test the general knowledge of the candidate. The duration to complete will remain the same as that of the first section, which is one hour.

In the third and last section of the first session, there will be computer knowledge and data entry speed test of the candidate. The duration of both the modules will be 15 minutes each.

It is to be noted here that as per the released notification Module II of Section III which is Data Entry Speed ​​Test will be conducted in the second session.

Earlier this month, on February 9, the Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CGL result and cut-off marks for Tier 1 of the exam.

The Combined Graduate Level Examination is conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission for recruitment to Grade ‘B’ and Grade ‘C’ category posts in various Ministries and Departments of the Government. The exam is conducted in two phases called Tiers, the registration for which is through the official website of SSC.

To fill around 20,000 vacancies, the notification to revise the exam pattern and selection process was released by the SSC in September last year.
