Ram Charan had an exciting 2022 among all others. Not only did his film RRR break innumerable box office records but also currently finds itself in the Oscar race. To add to the festivities, the southern superstar has also become a favorite of Hollywood hosts, who are calling him for interviews. In one such conversation, Ram Charan expressed his desire to be a part of every popular franchise that people love to watch.
On Friday, Ram Charan shared snippets of an interview with Ash Crossan on his Instagram handle Entertainment tonight. When the actor was asked if there is any franchise, be it Marvel or Star Wars, he was interested in being a significant part of, Ram Charan says, “I want to be in every franchise that people are watching it and buying tickets. I want to be in every movie, in every country where people basically appreciate movies and art in cinema. Cinema is becoming global cinema. It’s not Hollywood, Bollywood. It’s all wooden is burning up the world and becoming a global cinema. And I am very fortunate to be a part of it.”
When Ash Crossan talks about the things that can be achieved if SS Rajamouli directs a Marvel film, Ram Charan replies, “Wow. If that happens, we’re going to throw you a big party.” . He’s one of the first to say so and fingers crossed, I really hope that happens. This is for my director.”
In his recent conversation with Talk Easy’s Sam Fragoso on the RRR journey, his upbringing in Hyderabad, his emotional reaction to his father Chiranjeevi’s Oscar nomination.
On the historic Oscar nomination, he said, “The people I am talking about don’t even know what this will do for our country. You cannot understand the result of this day. It is emotional for all of us. It is emotional for my father who is waiting there. Before taking my flight, he was so sentimental that I am coming here. He has acted in 154 films and has been working for 42 years, he went to the Oscars in the 80s and that too for an appearance, and that too was a huge achievement. But today we have enrolled and are on the list and are now waiting.”
