Actress Sreeleela is set to feature in an item song in the highly anticipated Pushpa 2, but her fee for the performance has sparked some buzz. Reportedly, she has been paid Rs 2 crore for her role in the special song, a substantial 60 percent less than Samantha’s Rs 5 crore payment for Oo Antava in Pushpa: The Rise.
Although Rs 2 crore is a hefty amount, it’s notably lower than her previous remuneration of Rs 4 crore for her performance in Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, according to reports from OneIndia.com.

Recently, a leaked behind-the-scenes photo featuring Allu Arjun in his iconic Pushpa look alongside Sreeleela stirred excitement among fans. In the image, Allu Arjun sports his characteristic orange outfit, while Sreeleela dazzles in a black blouse and long skirt embellished with traditional designs. The photo quickly went viral, fuelling anticipation for their collaboration in Pushpa 2, which is set for a grand worldwide release on December 5, 2024.
The film, directed by Sukumar, boasts an impressive cast that includes Rashmika Mandanna, who returns as the female lead, along with Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, and others in key roles. Mythri Movie Makers officially announced Sreeleela’s involvement in Pushpa 2 through social media, dubbing her “The Dancing Queen” and sharing that her number, titled “Kissik,” is expected to be the “Song of the Year,” filled with powerful dance moves and catchy music.
As for the lead actors, Allu Arjun has reportedly commanded a record-breaking Rs 300 crore for reprising his role in Pushpa 2, while Rashmika Mandanna has allegedly earned Rs 10 crore. Fahadh Faasil, who plays the antagonist, is said to have been paid Rs 8 crore, indicating the massive budget and expectations around this sequel.
