Squid Game actor Jang Ho Yeon talks about spending time on Zendaya’s Euphoria set, discusses cameo in third season

Squid Game and Euphoria both gained massive popularity and set social media trends upon release. While the first is a survival k-drama, the latter revolves around a group of schoolgirls who navigate their identities to deal with trauma and multiple issues. Now, actress Jung Ho Yeon, who played a key role in Squid Game, has a potential cameo debut in the third season of Zendaya’s Euphoria. The cast of the survival drama was in attendance at the Critics’ Choice Awards 2022 in Los Angeles, where it received the award for Best Foreign Language Series.

In conversation with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Ho Yeon opened up about his love for Zendaya’s show and recalls visiting the set of the same.

She told ET, “I went to the set of Euphoria and it was great to see the set because it has gone online. It was weird because I felt so comfortable.” When asked about a possible cameo, he replied, “I’d love to.”

In addition to the South Korean actress, Zendaya’s boyfriend and Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland also shared that he would love to appear in a cameo in Euphoria.

The series stars Zendaya, Sidney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schaefer, Dominic Faik and Maude Apatow. The second season of this show has aired recently. On the other hand, there are reports of Squid coming back with another season of the game. However, Ho Yeon’s character was killed off in the first season, so we’re not sure if he’ll have a role in the second.

The squid game features Lee Jung-jae, Park Hee-soo, Wai Ha-joon, Hoyon Jung, O Yeong-su, Heo Sung-tae, Anupam Tripathi and Kim Joo-ryong.
