- UP Vidhan Sabha Budget Session Latest Update. Opposition Prepares To Surround Government; Uttar Pradesh Budget 2022 Will Be Presented On May 26

The budget session in the Vidhan Sabha on Monday started with a ruckus. As soon as the session started, the SP MLAs started a ruckus. Governor Anandiben Patel’s address went on for one hour and 10 minutes. During this, the SP MLAs kept raising slogans of ‘Go back to the Governor’. SP MLAs reached the well and waved anti-government, inflation and unemployment posters. After this the proceedings were adjourned till 11 am on Tuesday.
This is the first budget session of Yogi Sarkar 2.0. In this 6-day long session, the government will present its big budget on May 26. This budget will be of 6.5 lakh crores. Before the commencement of the budget session, CM Yogi spoke to the media.

Big points of Governor’s address

Yogi said – budget should be passed with effective debate
Before the start of the budget session, Yogi said, “The budget should be passed with serious and effective debate. This will be the budget of 2022-23. For the development of 25 crore people, the welfare of the poor and every section of the society will be taken care of in the budget.” “
The BSP has also reached the assembly with a poster to surround the government. A poster showing, “Save the farm from the bulls, save the country from the thieves”
7 Bills and 4 Ordinances laid before the House
7 Bills and 4 Ordinances are placed before the House in the budget session. These include Bhatkhande State Culture University Ordinance 2022, Uttar Pradesh State University Amendment Ordinance 2022, Uttar Pradesh Industrial Area Development Amendment Ordinance 2022 and Uttar Pradesh Private University Amendment Ordinance 2022. They will be passed unanimously.
Amidst the beginning of the budget session, the Samajwadi Party targeted the government.
Opposition got stronger this time
This time BJP has 255 MLAs in the assembly. Apart from this, there are 12 members of its ally Apna Dal (Sonelal) and 6 members of Nishad Party. In this way, the ruling party has a total of 273 MLAs. On the other hand the opposition has become stronger this time. The main opposition party SP has 111 MLAs. Also, its ally Rashtriya Lok Dal has 8 MLAs and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party has 6 MLAs. Thus the total MLA strength of SP Plus is 125.
At the same time, Congress and Jansatta Dal are 2-2 of Loktantrik, and one member of Bahujan Samaj Party. Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana stressed before the budget session of the Legislature that from the first session itself, the House would fulfill the aspirations of the people of the state.
