Spider-Man: No Way Home leaked on piracy sites as Tom Holland-starrer releases in India

In an unfortunate turn of events for the makers of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the film has been leaked on torrent websites and other portals that enable piracy. The much-awaited Marvel film has become the latest victim of piracy. The Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, among others, John Watts directorial was released on Thursday, 16 December in several cinemas across India. Illegal Spider-Man: No Way Home is available in different quality and file size versions.

Reportedly, a section of Marvel fans, who have long and patiently waited for the release of the film, are supporting the leak as they cannot wait to get tickets and reach the theaters to watch the film. However, others are condemning the leak for the staggeringly low-quality of the pirated copies, which will spoil the movie watching experience. Spider-Man: No Way Home debuted in the UK on Wednesday and will premiere in the US and worldwide markets on Friday. However, the makers are working hard to stop the leak. According to screenshots available online, the cam-recorded quality of Illegal Rip is terrible to an unmistakable extent.

A day earlier, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that important sections and legitimate spoilers of No Way Home had been leaked online. Sony’s Columbia Pictures, which owns the film rights, acted swiftly to put an end to the leak. Large portions of the film appeared on YouTube via Spider-Man searches.

Some leaks were up to 10 minutes long and others had picture and audio quality with foreign subtitles ranging from scuffed to quite clear. Within minutes of the initial posting, Sony successfully removed the leak from the platform. Spider-Man: No Way Home broke several records in international markets with its advance ticket sales.

Spider-Man: No Way Home also stars Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Thomas Haden Church, Rhys Ifans, Benedict Wong and Marisa Tomei.
