SpiceJet kicks off monsoon sale with fares starting at Rs 999 – Times of India

Mumbai: After Alliance Air and Vistara, the low-cost carrier SpiceJet Monsoon Sale on Friday with offers starting as low as Rs 999 on ‘One Way All-Inclusive Domestic Sale Fares’ to travel to select destinations like Hyderabad-Belgaum, Belgaum-Hyderabad, Chennai-Hyderabad, Chennai-Bengaluru join the bandwagon.
The five-day sale is starting from June 25 and will extend for bookings made till June 30. It will be valid for travel from August 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. This is a departure from the sales offers made by the other two airlines in the past one week, which had a travel period till October this year. Essentially the airline has made offers to rake in the forward booking revenue. Another newbie to boost the sale is a discount within the discount offer in the form of flight vouchers, which cost Rs.1000. Passengers booking tickets during the sale period of five days get a voucher worth Rs 1000 which can be availed by making another booking on SpiceJet. Valid for travel between July 1, 2021 and July 31, 2021, between August 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022. ‘The free flight voucher is equivalent to the base fare of Rs 1000 per PNR booking and is applicable for bookings. Travel period from August 1 to March 31, 2022,” said a SpiceJet release.
“The special discounted fare offer is valid for all one-way retail fares on direct domestic bookings,” the release said. So if you want to book Chennai-Hyderabad return ticket, then Rs.999 fare is available only on Chennai-Hyderabad flight. The discounted fare for the return flight, Hyderad-Chennai, starts at Rs 1389, with the cheapest return fare on the route being Rs 2388 (tax inclusive) for travel in August. The best deal is available for travelers flying as far as Rs 999 between Belgaum and Hyderabad both ways, making it Rs 1998 for return ticket in August. The cheapest fare for Mumbai-Delhi return was Rs 4,600.
“Tickets for sale can be booked through the airline website, online travel portal, SpiceJet mobile app and through travel agents. Tickets booked under this offer are liable to be canceled or changed as per standard policy. Passengers do not tax You will be able to combine this offer with any other scheme/offer/discount/promotion etc. available at the time of booking. Blackout dates are applicable. Seats will be available on a first come, first served basis,” the airline said.
