Special session of Himachal Vidhan Sabha on September 17: President Ram Nath Kovind will be the special guest; MLAs will have to get RT-PCR test done, group photo is also to be taken

Special session of Himachal Vidhan Sabha is going to be held on September 17. President Ram Nath Kovind will attend it as a special guest. Therefore, all the sitting MLAs and former MLAs attending the special session will have to get the corona test done. A total of 93 former MLAs have agreed to come to the session of the assembly.

Special session organized on the occasion of Golden Jubilee

Assembly Speaker Vipin Singh Parmar gave this information in a conversation with reporters. He informed that Himachal producer Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar has contributed in taking the state to its present heights. Apart from this, Late Ram Lal Thakur, Late Virbhadra Singh, Former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar, Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and current Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur are doing all possible work for the development.

Himachal Pradesh became the 18th state of the Republic of India on 25 January 1971. The state got full statehood. The people of the state are celebrating the golden year 2021 with great pomp. The government has called a special session on this occasion. In this session, the journey from the beginning till now will be discussed. Former MLAs will also put forth their views, which will tell how Himachal was before and how it is now.

Order to all MLAs to reach exactly 10 o’clock

Parmar told that all the sitting and former MLAs will have to reach the house at 10 o’clock. President Ram Nath Kovind’s address will begin at 11 am and will continue till 12 noon. After this a group portrait will also be taken, in which all the former and present members will be involved. Earlier in the year 2003, Dr. APJ Kalam had addressed the assembly. After that in the year 2013, Pranab Mukherjee addressed the assembly on the occasion of Golden Jubilee Year.

He will be on stage with the President
Apart from President Ram Nath Kovind, Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Speaker Vipin Singh Parmar will be present on the stage. Apart from this, all the members will remain in their respective seats.

Justice Vivek Thakur’s father will come
To attend the special session of the Vidhan Sabha, the father of Himachal Pradesh High Court Judge Vivek Thakur will arrive on a wheel chair to attend this session. Former Union Minister Pandit Sukh Ram and former cabinet minister Vidya Stokes will not attend the event.

Present, former MLAs will have to reach the assembly by 10 pm.
