In the next 24 hours, the maximum temperature in Kolkata will be around 33 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 28 degree Celsius. The amount of rain will increase next Sunday and Monday. Yellow alert has been issued in many districts of South Bengal regarding heavy rains. However, there will be no heavy rain in the districts of North Bengal at present.




The Meteorological Department said that a cyclone has formed off the coast of Myanmar. This afternoon, the cyclone will move closer to east-central Bay of Bengal and north-east Bay of Bengal. Next time this vortex will turn into a depression. As a result, light to moderate rain will occur over all the districts of South Bengal on 26th and 27th. Due to this depression, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many districts.

The Alipore Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in East Midnapore on Sunday. There is a possibility of heavy rain in East Midnapore, West Midnapore and South 24 Parganas on Monday. Due to this low pressure, the fishermen have been banned from going to sea since Saturday. There will be partly cloudy sky over South Bengal in the next 24 hours. There is a chance of scattered showers with thunder. However, there is no possibility of heavy rain in South Bengal today. Temperature will increase in South Bengal.
