Driven by opener Rohit Sharma’s 83 and KL Rahul (55 batting in) not out, India reached 157 for two at tea on the first day of the second Test against England at Lord’s on Thursday.

England bowlers struggled to pick up wickets after putting India into bat as the visitors reached 46 for no loss in a rain-hit first session.

The Indian openers opened against Sam Curran before bowling hard from James Anderson and Ollie Robinson.
