Bollywood actress Jiah Khan was found dead on June 3, 2013 at her Juhu home. A six-page suicide note allegedly written by him was recovered. After Jiah’s bail, Jiah’s mother moved the Bombay High Court seeking transfer of the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The central probe agency filed a charge sheet in December 2015 in which they accused Sooraj of abetment to suicide under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.
