Singer Sonu Nigam returned to Instagram for the first time after the attack on him and his team at his concert in Mumbai and shared happy memories of the night. On the social media platform, the singer shared a series of videos taken before the scuffle with Swapnil Faterpekar, son of MLA Prakash Faterpekar. In the first video, the singer was seen setting the house on fire with his energetic performance on Bijuriya.
She then enthralled the audience with her performance in Border Se Sandesh Aate Hai. After singing Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin from Agneepath, he left the room crying. Sharing the post, Sonu wrote, “Happy time since last night.”
On Monday night, shocking videos of Sonu Nigam and some of his team members being attacked at his concert in Mumbai went viral. It was later learned that Swapnil Faterpekar, son of MLA Prakash Faterpekar, wanted to take a picture with the singer, but his bodyguards intervened. Sonu has filed a complaint in this matter. The singer opened up about his experience and said that he filed the case for urging people to ‘forcefully take selfies and think about mayhem’.
Meanwhile, Swapnil’s sister and Prakash Phaterpekar’s daughter Suprada Phaterpekar, who was part of the team of organizers for the music festival, has reacted to the incident. She addressed the incident on Twitter and said

Speaking to ANI, she said, “My brother wanted to click a selfie with Sonu Nigam, and while he was doing so, an altercation broke out between him and Sonu Nigam’s bodyguard. It was just a fan moment gone wrong. We later apologized to Sonu Nigam as well.”
