Sonowal: 400 Jan Aushadhi Kendras will be set up in Assam. Guwahati News – Times of India

GUWAHATI: Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday announced that 800 new Jan Aushadhi Kendras will be set up in the Northeast under the Pradhan Mantri Ayush Yojana. Out of this, 400 Jan Aushadhi Kendras will be set up in Assam.
Sonowal was speaking at an event organized to celebrate Jan Aushadhi Diwas at Ulubari here. “Jan Aushadhi Project is providing a great service to the common people as well as providing an opportunity to many people to earn a respectable livelihood to become self dependent. I thank PM Shri Narendra Modi-ji For his noble initiative of Jan Aushadhi Project, which has helped a lot,” Sonowal said. “Today apart from allopathic medicines, traditional medicines of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani medicine And homeopathy is also available at Jan Aushadhi Kendras.
