Sonam Kapoor to perform at King Charles’ Coronation; will share stage with iconic Tom Cruise

Set to share the stage with global icons like Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Tom Cruise, the actress will be the only Indian to attend King Charles’ Coronation Concert. She has been invited to perform a special spoken word piece at the highly anticipated King Charles III Coronation Concert, where she will introduce Steve Winwood and the special Commonwealth Virtual Choir on 7 May at Windsor Castle, United Kingdom.

On 6 May, the coronation of Her Majesty The King and Queen Consort will take place at Westminster Abbey, followed by a celebration ceremony at Windsor Castle on 7 May. The concert will see global music icons and contemporary stars celebrate the historic occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Sonam mentioned, “I am honored to join the Commonwealth Virtual Choir for this event celebrating Her Majesty’s love for music and the arts. reflects a commitment to an inclusive and optimistic future.” Kingdom, a tribute to the royal heritage with the choir’s music and promoting unity, peace and joy.”
