Sushant Divgikr took to Instagram recently and spoke about witnessing a celebrity wedding being gatecrashed. Sushant said that several strangers had gatecrashed the wedding just to make reels for Instagram. While Sushant did not name the celebrity, netizens speculate that the couple in question are Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal.
This speculation comes as Sushant recently attended Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding reception in Mumbai. Additionally, Sonakshi also reacted to Sushant’s post by dropping a bunch of laughing emojis in the comments section. Check out the post here:
Sushant wrote, “Just experienced several people gate crashing and/or trying to gate crash a celebrity wedding recently. I can’t believe people will get fully dressed, pretend like they’re invited and then sneak in!! For what joy? So you can enter and just make some reels?” he asked. “I am in disbelief as to how people can be so faaaaltu.”
Sonakshi and Zaheer opted for a civil marriage, which took place at the actress’ Bandra home on June 23. Sonakshi and Zaheer dated for seven years before taking their relationship to the next level. While they got hitched in an intimate ceremony, the couple hosted a grand reception for their friends from the film industry.
Several celebrities including Salman Khan, Kajol, Vidya Balan, Rekha, Huma Qureshi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aditya Roy Kapur, Tabu and Anil Kapoor, among others attended Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s star-studded reception.
Recently, Sonakshi Sinha made her first public appearance with Zaheer Iqbal after their wedding. The newlyweds were seen arriving for a family dinner in Mumbai last night. Sonakshi and Zaheer happily posed for the paps and held each other close.
Sonakshi looked beautiful in a red dress, flaunting her bridal glow. Zaheer complemented her in a white shirt with black pants. Sonakshi and Zaheer also wore red and white respectively for their wedding reception.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi has been subjected to immense trolling over her inter-faith marriage with Zaheer Iqbal. Shatrughan Sinha also lashed out at those protesting against his daughter Sonakshi’s inter-faith wedding with Zaheer Iqbal and calling it “love jihad”.
“Anand Bakshi saab has written about such professional protestors, ‘Kucch to log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna. To this I would like to add, ‘Kehne waale agar bekar, bekaam-kaaj ke ho to kehna hi kaam ban jata hai (For unemployed people, this is all the work they have).’ My daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional,” he told Times Now.
“A wedding is a very personal decision between two people; no one has the right to interfere or comment. To all the protestors I say – go, get a life. Do something useful with your life. Aur kucch nahi kehna (I have nothing else to say),” the veteran actor added.
