Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal recently got married and hosted a star-studded wedding reception in Mumbai last night. The lovebirds were surrounded by their close friends and family, and enjoyed themselves to the fullest. A video of the husband and wife, dancing their way into the wedding reception recently went viral. Sonakshi and Zaheer dished out major couple goals, as they danced their hearts out, surrounded by dhal.

Sonakshi Sinha has made her first appearance post-wedding with Zaheer Iqbal, stunning in a beautiful traditional red silk saree. She accessorized with a striking beaded green and gold necklace, matching drop earrings, and red bangles. Her hair bun was adorned with a garland of jasmine tied around it. Sporting winged eyeliner and a blush pink lip colour, Sonakshi beamed with joy on her special day. She also sported sindoor and held Zaheer close. The groom complemented her look in a white kurta and jacket. They happily posed as man and wife for the paps at the wedding reception.

In the caption, Sonakshi wrote, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Rumours were abuzz that Shatrughan Sinha wasn’t thrilled about Sonakshi marrying Zaheer Iqbal, but he quickly set the record straight a day before the wedding: all was well in the Sinha household. Initially surprised by the wedding news, he soon dismissed any reports of being upset with his daughter for keeping him out of the loop. Sonakshi shut down the trolls in style, clutching her dad’s arm as Zaheer signed the marriage certificate. Shatrughan Sinha looked over the moon and couldn’t stop smiling.
