Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are finally a married couple and their love-filled signing ceremony pictures are proof. Celebrating this joyous moment amidst family and close friends, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal took to instagram to share the special moment with their fans and well-wishers.
June 23 holds a special place in the couple’s heart as it was the date the couple decided to hold on to each other. As man and wife now, Sonakshi and Zaheer looked ethereal in pastel hues. Zaheer looked dapper in a simple, embroidered white kurta complementing his gorgeous bride who took the sustainable route on her big day.
Sonakshi embodied grace and elegance in a simple, chic saree drape she adorned. News18 has learnt that the saree Sonakshi adorned is one of her mother, Poonam Sinha’s vintage saree. The intricately embroidered saree added a minimalistic style to Sonakshi’s intimate wedding celebrations. A true blessing indeed! Sonakshi paired the saree with a simple striped blouse.
The wedding look also comprised a necklace which also belonged to her mom. The pearl necklace adorned with precious stones added a hint of sparkle to Sonakshi’s minimal style. Her hair was styled in a bun and adorned with fresh white roses. Keeping the makeup minimal, Sonakshi’s bridal glow was the highlight of the ceremony.
Surrounded by smiles and happiness, Sonakshi and Zaheer put out a heartfelt statement. They said, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs..leading up to this moment..where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods..we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever.”
The ceremony was attended by Sonakshi’s parents Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal’s father Iqbal Ratansi, his sister Sanam Ratansi, Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth, among others.
The couple will be celebrating their wedding with a grand party and are expecting friends from the film industry in attendance. We look forward to see what Sonakshi and Zaheer will be wearing at their reception party.
