Sonakshi Sinha is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal. While the couple will take the wedding vows on June 23, their pre-wedding functions have already begun. On Thursday night, Sonakshi was seen arriving at Zaheer’s house in Mumbai ahead of their wedding.
In a video that surfaced on social media, Sonakshi’s car was seen arriving at Zaheer’s residence. The actress covered her car’s window panel with black curtains and also added a bedsheet in the front to ensure no paparazzi is able to take her pictures. Later, Sonakshi was seen stepping out of the car when she refused to pose and rushed insider Zaheer’s building. Watch the video here:
Besides Sonakshi, her parents, Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha were also photographed at Zaheer’s residence. Later, they were also photographed leaving Zaheer’s house around midnight when Shatrughan happily posed with Zaheer and also hugged the groom-to-be. Rumours were doing the rounds that Sonakshi’s family was upset with her sudden wedding plans with Zaheer. However, their photos and videos have finally put a full stop to all the speculations.
Shatrughan also, in a recent interview, addressed the rumours surrounding Sonakshi’s wedding and called out those who are spreading “lies” against his family. “Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I’m very proud of and immensely fond of,” Shatrughan told Times Now.com/Zoom. “She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?”
Meanwhile, News18 Showsha has exclusively learnt that Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding won’t really be an intimate affair as it will see some of the biggest names in Bollywood gracing their big day to shower blessings and love on the couple. A source close to the couple told us that actors Aayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Varun Sharma are likely to attend the wedding. Besides this, Salman Khan has also been sent an invitation. Sonakshi has also invited her Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar co-stars including Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sharmin Segal Mehta among others.
