Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal celebrated their wedding reception in Mumbai on June 23, 2024.
Sonakshi Sinha looked radiant in a red silk brocade saree with motifs of a crescent moon in gold. Zaheer looked dapper in a white bandhgala kurta set.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal walked hand in hand at the wedding reception party on June 23 in Mumbai. The couple dazzled in traditional Indian attires and exchanged sweet nothings at the reception making it one big happy moment.
Sonakshi, who had draped a pastel ivory hue saree for the signing ceremony, chose a vibrant, traditional brocade silk saree in red from Raw Mango by Sanjay Garg. The rich colour of the saree was further enhanced with gold chand motifs or crescent moon in gold. The gold saree border and motifs shimmered under the lights as Sonakshi posed with her husband, Zaheer. The saree was paired with a custom red blouse.
Sonakshi’s traditional bridal wear was complemented with a contrasting jewellery set featuring a choker and chandbalis. Her signature winged eyeliner, kohl laden eyes, red sindoor and bindi completed her beautiful bridal look. What we love about Sonakshi’s bridal wear is that she chose to keep it traditional and we are glad she chose red, just like we predicted. She accessorised with a gold potli bag and chose gold wedge heels for her footwear. Sonakshi adorned mogra flowers styled with her sleep hair bun.
Zaheer Iqbal let his bride shine on their special day, as he opted for an ivory bandhgala sherwani kurta set. The textured tone on tone jacket paired with a white kurta set may be subtle but the groom did look dapper in the ensemble.
The couple posed for the shutterbugs who were eagerly waiting for them at the reception party. All smiles and full of joy, the couple also posed with the photographers and shared some fun banter with them at the venue. Sonakshi and Zaheer later went on to join their guests who were waiting to wish the happy couple.
