Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are all set to tie the knot. While the couple will take the wedding vows on June 23, their pre-wedding functions have already begun. It has now been revealed that the two will host their Haldi ceremony on June 20th.
As reported by Hindustan Times, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s Haldi ceremony will be held at the former’s Bandra residence. Reportedly, it will be an intimate function with not more than 50 people in attendance. “The haldi function will happen at Sonakshi’s new home in Bandra that she bought recently after leaving her parents’ house. It will be a tight setting with only close friends and family, and less than 50 people have been invited for the function, and that’s why they opted for Sona’s house as the venue,” a source cited by the portal claimed.
“Since the day they started planning their wedding, they were sure about having their close-knit circle around for their festivities, and end the celebrations with a huge party. Of course they want to celebrate their happiness with their industry friends, so the reception will be big,” the insider added.
The source also shared details of Sonakshi’s Haldi ceremony decor and revealed, “She wants to keep the ambience very minimalist, and she has suggested certain decor ideas to the planners. Sonakshi is not going for a typical yellow and pink themed haldi, but it will be something different from what we usually see in such ceremonies as she wanted to avoid mainstream decoration.”

Meanwhile, News18 Showsha has exclusively learnt that Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding won’t really be an intimate affair as it will see some of the biggest names in Bollywood gracing their big day to shower blessings and love on the couple. A source close to the couple told us that actors Aayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Varun Sharma are likely to attend the wedding. Besides this, Salman Khan has also been sent an invitation. Sonakshi has also invited her Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar co-stars including Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sharmin Segal Mehta among others.
