While the wedding festivities are currently happening in Bandra, photos and videos of Sonakshi’s decked up multi-storey house are going viral on the internet. The entire building is lit up with decorative string lights.
Meanwhile, a photo from Sonakshi’s Mehndi ceremony went viral on the internet today. The bride-to-be looked stunning as she posed with Zaheer Iqbal at their Mehndi ceremony, which took place in Mumbai on Friday. Ahead of their wedding, Zaheer’s sister Sanam Ratansi shared a photo from Sonakshi’s Mehndi ceremony.
In the pic, Sonakshi held Zaheer close as they posed with their families and close friends. Sonakshi looked gorgeous in a red ethnic wear, while Zaheer looked dapper in a floral print kurta with low-neckline.
In a recent interview, Shatrughan Sinha confirmed that there were some tensions in his family about Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding to Zaheer Iqbal. However, the veteran actor has also clarified that all “stress” has been resolved now and they are okay.
Speaking to Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha said, “It is the wedding reception that we are all attending on the evening of June 23.” Clarifying the date again, the veteran actor said, “No one from my family said anything about a wedding. Some media outlets have just been presuming things. Too much attention is being given to something that is a private family matter.”
“Shadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted,” he said and added, “Koi wand nahi hai. Yeh sab hota hi hai har shaadi main. Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, it doesn’t mean Sonakshi can’t have what she wants in life. Hum log bohot maza karenge June 23 ko.”
