Singer Sona Mohapatra’s jibe at Shehnaaz Gill is taking an ugly turn on Twitter. Recently, the singer slammed Bigg Boss 13 fame Shehnaaz for supporting #MeToo accused Sajid Khan. Shehnaaz was recently appreciated at an event for pausing during the Azaan. While fans loved the gesture, Sona Mohapatra was not impressed. In a series of tweets, the singer criticized Shehnaaz after praising Shehnaaz’s “act of honour” at an award show.
In the tweet Sona wrote, “All the twitter praise for Shahnaz ji II’s act of ‘respect’ today reminded me of her ‘support’, ‘reverence’ and ‘glory’ of a multiple accused sex offender and #SajjidKhan mutilated when she was given the stage. On national TV. Wish she had some respect for her sister. #MeToo. The singer shared her #MeToo story in 2018 when the movement was at its peak in India. Though Sona was trolled for her tweet, she gave another reply asking netizens about Shehnaaz’s talent. He wrote, “Dear trolls who are trying to stand up for yet another starlet like Jacqueline (Fernandez), I don’t know what Shehnaaz’s special talent is, other than low-brow reality TV fame. But I do know What’s the way of doing things.” Women of convenience, shortcuts that expose the good fight for a role/money”.
The fans could not control their anger and started trolling the singer in support of Shehnaaz. One user wrote, ‘Look who is talking about what Shahnaz has done so far..madam I came to know about your existence from Shahnaz..but I am feeling very sad for you..you You can try anything but respect and love Shahnaz. Got what you will never get.. best of luck next time?” Taught not to let anyone down.” Tweets kept coming in support of the country’s favorite Shahnaz.
Sona Mohapatra also said that he “behaved very badly in the past.” Her tweet read, “Whoever is the ‘SM agency’ please know that while I don’t have someone who in turn gets paid a bunch to harass your client, I have done very poorly in the past The gang who were on payroll invest themselves to continue the fake trend of Bigg Boss.
