Ahead of the March 11 hearing in the Central Administrative Tribunal, which has already made it clear that Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar has only two options – take either Abhishek in Telangana cadre or face contempt proceedings.
Somesh in his petition said, “We have written a letter to the Union Home Ministry to take a decision in Abhishek’s case. The High Court is also considering the matter. Keep the matter in CAT till they see.” Don’t make any decisions.”
Alternatively, this court may also direct the Union Home Ministry to take an immediate decision in the matter.
Terming it as yet another hoax attempt, Abhishek filed a rejoinder saying that what the CS was looking for is a strange relief. No such clarification was sought from the Center when CAT had passed similar relief orders in favor of Somesh, senior IPS officers Anjani Kumar, Santosh Mehra and senior IAS officers. Y Srilakshmi, Abhishek opposed the relief sought by the Telangana CS saying that with the help of CAT orders he went to the states of his choice, but when I was given similar relief, Somesh is writing a letter to the Centre.
