Ritesh Agarwal married Geetansha Sood yesterday.

SoftBank chief Masayoshi Son was among the corporate leaders who attended OYO founder Ritesh Agarwal’s wedding reception in Delhi yesterday. The pictures also show the 29-year-old entrepreneur touching her feet to seek her blessings.

Mr Agarwal, who is one of the youngest billionaires in the country, founded OYO in 2013 when he was just 19. SoftBank, a Japanese conglomerate, is its largest investor.

The entrepreneur married Geetansha Sood yesterday. The event was attended by several corporate leaders including Vijay Shekhar Sharma of Paytm and Piyush Bansal of Lenskart.

Tagging pictures of a smiling Mr Son and other business leaders, Mr Sharma tweeted: “An absolute joy today to see Masa smiling, happy and enjoying her visit to India.

Union Minister Prahlad Patel also shared pictures with the couple and congratulated them.

Last month, Mr Agarwal, accompanied by his mother and then-fiancée, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to his wedding. In pictures shared online, the couple is seen touching PM Modi’s feet to seek his blessings.

The couple also recently met President Draupadi Murmu and sought her blessings. Sharing pictures with the President, she wrote on Instagram: “Feel like home talking to you in Odisha.”

OYO, which specializes in no-frills accommodation, has tied up with budget hotels to help them connect with tourists. It operates in more than 800 cities.
