Social Media Influencer Dolly Singh To Make Cannes Film Festival Debut This Year

New Delhi: Social media influencer and content creator Dolly Singh is all set to make her Cannes Film Festival debut. She says she has finally ticked off an important milestone on her bucket list.

She will head to the French Riviera later this month, where she will walk the red carpet and attend an official movie screening at the prestigious Grand Lumière theatre. Her four-day itinerary will also include her cultural exploration, where she will sample exquisite culinary experiences at Chez Alben, La Mome Plage, Silencio Club, Fred L’Cailler and Majestic Le Paradisio.


Dolly says, “Cannes Film Festival has been an important platform for Indian artistes to showcase their talent on an international platform. Over the years Indian talent has not only brought Indian cinema to the world stage but also helped break down cultural barriers and promoting cross-cultural exchange.”

She added: “Today I am honored to contribute to this exchange in my own unique way and to make my debut at the festival this year. From making candles in a small town of Nainital to walking the red carpet at Cannes Until then, I’m really happy.” Grateful and excited for this opportunity. It was a long-standing dream and I have finally crossed an important milestone off my bucket list.


Hailing from Nainital, Dolly Raju Ki Mummy has become one of the most recognizable content creators in the country creating a dolliverse of her own with fun mini characters like South Delhi Girl, Guddi Bhabhi, Zeenat and Shree.

Growing up, Singh was always determined to make a mark in the world of fashion. After completing her graduation in Political Science, she decided to pursue her Master’s in Fashion from NIFT. Her personal content creation journey started with ‘Spill the Sass’ where she talks about affordable fashion.

The Cannes Film Festival 2023 will begin on May 16 and go on till May 27.
