Smell of BJP-Trinamool collusion over by-elections, return of ‘BJMul’ theory to Sujan’s neck

The CPI(M) considered the basic principle of the BJP to be wrong. However, the BJP’s theory returned to the CPM leader’s neck after the bypolls in Bhawanipur were announced. “Delhi doesn’t want to be thrown at the grassroots in any way,” Sujan complained. By-elections were to be held in B.C., but the Election Commission announced by-elections only in Bhabnipur assembly constituency. Opposition parties in the state are not satisfied with this.

Blaming the Centre-Trinamool alliance, Sujan Chakraborty argued, “Many would have thought that after the Lok Sabha elections, the Trinamool Congress has become more vocal in its opposition to the BJP. But the truth is that the BJP does not want any more. Power should come and there should be chaos at the ground level. If he wanted CBI or ED to stand up and lie down once, it would not have happened.

Regarding the by-election, Subaj Chakraborty complained, ‘All elections should be held on time. But the surprising thing is that the Election Commission is conducting by-elections only in Bhawanipur assembly constituency without conducting by-elections on the remaining seats. This by-election is being held on the special request of the state government. The main purpose of this election is not to represent the people. The by-election is being held separately only in Bhabnipur so that the person who is in the chief minister’s post remains in that post and does not face any difficulty. Delhi is also keen to recognize the special interests of the state government. Everything became clear.

Meanwhile, Shuvendu Adhikari, who lost to Mamta Banerjee in Nandigram, questioned the by-elections in the remaining seats except Bhabnipur. He also said, ‘BJP believes in parliamentary democracy. We will start the election campaign as per the guidelines of the Election Commission. But till now the Election Commission has been called the broker of BJP. Amit Shah moves towards Helen, Narendra Modi’s finger, I will seek an explanation for this statement of the Chief Minister.
