Sri Lanka won ODI series against Australia

Ending all speculation and doubts, Sri Lanka defeated Australia in the fourth ODI to win the series 3–1. The Australian team is stunned as they have lost a bilateral match on Sri Lankan soil for the first time in 30 odd years. Aussies are struggling against Sri Lanka who have done a good job of stopping them in this five-match ODI series so far.

Sri Lanka was not expected to defend 259 runs in the face of powerful Australian players like Finch, Warner, Maxwell and Marsh. As soon as the wicket started making some moves, the Australian team started to crumble. Delhi Capitals legend David Warnet tried his best but could not finish the match for his team as he was stuck Dhananjay De Silva and was stumped by wicketkeeper Dickwella. Matthew Kuehnemann tried his best and scored 15 off 12 balls, but by then it was too late and Australia were trailing by 4 runs.
