New Delhi: Romana, one of the fastest rising stars in the music industry, has released her debut EP, ‘Meharbaaniyan’ through Desi Melodies. The album consists of four songs composed, composed and sung by the 26-year-old singer.
Romana has collaborated with other musicians, including his own mentor Jani, Avi Sara and Jayden. Within a short span of time, the EP has received an overwhelming response from the public, while the views are increasing rapidly.
After releasing the EP, Romana recently made an Instagram reel video with singer Baprak. As they lip-sync and enjoy the song, they do a little dance to its wonderful beats while enjoying the music. Romana has been a part of record breaking songs with Beeprak like ‘Filhaal’. Also, he wrote the first stanza for B-Prak’s song “Baarish Ki Jaaye”, which features Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Together, they appear to share a close bond as members of Desi Melodies.
Furthermore, Romana has gained a fan base since making her debut, and fans are eagerly waiting for her next recording.
Coming back to the EP, the first song on the EP, ‘Meharbaaniyan’, tells the story of a helpless bride who has left her toxic lover; As the hero longs for his companion, ‘Khair Allah Khair’ symbolizes that longing; The song ‘Kithe Rah Gaye’ is about the love of her life and her desire to win it back, and for ‘Mann Dolje’ Romana uses a canvas to admire her lover’s eyes and by using catchy metaphors. Romana started the journey as a solo artist ‘Goriya Goriyan’ under the production of Desi Tunes. Written and composed by Jani, with music by B-Prak, it currently has over 28 million views on YouTube.
Jani has been a part of record-breaking songs like Arijit Singh’s ‘Pachtaoge’ and is credited as the lyricist of Jassi Gill’s super hit song ‘Ehna Chauni Aa’. Young talent has also contributed in superhit films like ‘Haath Chumme’, ‘Sufna’ and ‘Kismat’.
